RIG dispatches across the lower 48 states — all of them — through a network of 6,000+ mobile heavy-duty mechanics. Coverage is densest where trucks are: metro areas and the major freight corridors. We don’t currently dispatch in Canada, Mexico, Alaska or Hawaii.
The honest version of a coverage answer is about density, not just a map. Every state in the lower 48 has network mechanics, and along the interstates that carry most freight — I-10, I-40, I-80, I-95, I-35 and their siblings — multiple mechanics typically compete for a breakdown. In genuinely remote country, the network mechanic may be an hour-plus away, because that is where the nearest heavy-duty mechanic physically is, whoever you call.
What the network model adds in thin territory: you find out fast. Instead of dialing shops in an unfamiliar area hoping one answers, your request hits everyone in range at once — if the nearest option is 90 minutes out, you know in ten minutes and can plan around it, rather than discovering it after an afternoon of voicemails.
